MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Missed scheduling of next digital out event

orge

Member
When running for about 2 hours, I get this error.:
MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Missed scheduling of next digital out event
This is generally indicative of an intermittent
communication failure between micro-controller and host.
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
"FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown

What do I do ?
Has set up canbus according to esorical guide

I'm not sure if you are running similar hardware, but this forum post might be of interest. Mentions a switch to the 32 bit OS, I remember there being issues on older (i,e, < pi4) boards, but I thought that got patched... but I'm not sure. The only canbus I have running is on a 4 with 64bit and i haven't seen that exception before.

Thanks, I have seen this about the 3 version another place, so I have ordered a 4, to see if this can solve it .....

As I am setting up a new system and intent on using canbus, I am interested in this post to see if it was solved? I have a RPI4 which is slightly older but I don't know how old. Still it will not allow me to choose the 32 bit version of the OS, so what to do? Both my pi's say 2018 but not sure if this is mfg date or what.
