Extrusion stops (gets plugged?)

im at a loss here, finished my 2.4 350 build about 6 months ago and have yet to have a print finish correctly. It seems as though the nozzle gets clogged, the extruder then grinds the filament smooth and no more printing... if i give the filament a small push it will grab and start printing again, but will do it again. I have checked and fixed all issues concerning the extruder build, i have checked and rechecked filament flow rate, i even changed the nozzle (which did allow one print to "finish" but with some extrusion errors, but then failed every attempt after). i dont know what else to do and i am getting extremely frustrated with this. can anyone help me please.

various thermal issues can cause that:
heatbreak cooling not running properly, excessively hot extruder motor, etc. Basically if the filament up at the extruder starts warming up too much, it softens just a little, and suddenly it starts shredding.

Incorrectly setting the tension on the extruder can cause it.

excessive friction in the reverse bowden.

Unfortunately, it's one of those things where the same symptom can result from a number of different causes.
