If you had to build another Voron?

Because I was forced to tinker with my Voron 2.4 after almost 2 years, I am half tempted to build another one.

Which leads me to ask: Which Voron would you build and what would you include?

For my part I'm leaning towards another 2.4 (350mm version) with: Stealthburner, Tap, Canbus\USB etc., (and possibly All Metal again, although it's expensive).

It would be interesting to know what you guys would build allowing for your experiences?

Well, since I started with a Trident and added a V0.2, a V2.4 is the obvious next move for me. Not sure if I'd go with another 250 or move to 300. I might tinker with one of the popular non-Stealthburner tool heads and the Beacon probe though I've been happy with the Stealthburner/Tap combo on the Trident. I'd almost certainly stick with Revo since that's what I have on all my printers now. Being a fourth FDM printer for me, I might try Canbus.

Don't!

I built my first 2.4 a couple years back. Now I have two 2.4s....and:
Two more 2.4s in boxes, a RatRig ready to put together, four VzBots (I already had 2 TronXYs), two more vzeroes to build, a Doron, and a Micron kit on the way.

But since that 2.4...I've also built a Switchwire, four MKS clones, three Vzeroes, LH Stinger, converted a couple cartesians to something better.

And that doesn't include all the pre-built printers I own.

It's a slippery slope...but if you have your indulgences in check you may be better off than I am. I go overboard when I find something I like to do.

@claudermilk

Have to admit I really like stealthburner/tap combo and Revo is my number one choice (even if a bit expensive). I might consider trying Beacon in the future.
No matter what I choose, Canbus is a must for me. The EBB SB2209 CAN (RP2040) has worked really well but I might try the Nighthawk option (as I have one, it might be worth checking out at least).

@5twenty
You have a lot of printers and yes you went overboard ;) but I totally understand, I have four other printers (all Creality) and even one I designed myself.
Using and then improving/modding them, wasn't work, it was a genuine pleasure... I loved every minute of it.

I still curious as to what the other guys would say...

It was for me as well. If I could build them forever I would.

I wasn't trying to discourage you, sarcastic attempt at the opposite...do it. Build a vzero...a tiny challenge that is a joy to watch in action. Tons of mods you can incorporate there as well.

I'll duck out and let others contribute, good luck.

Anyone use the Nitehawk, would love some feedback...

@NoGuru, you switched to Nitehawk and if I remember correctly, you were pretty happy with it, just checking to see if you had any issues since.

I'd be in the same boat except I have space limitations. Heck, I have an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra sitting in a corner because I haven't cleared space to set it up safely yet.
