[PSA] MatterHackers LayerLock BPs are too small!!

If you were, as I was, looking at these LayerLock plates from MH (I know I should have known better, but...) they are about 5mm too small on every side, making them about 10mm too small overall. If you have a slightly shallower and narrower mag bed it might work, but I won't trust any shiny aluminum to be exposed from where the plate should have covered.

This is my last purchase from these clowns, the last order I said the same, but I had these on my list for a LONG time, and wanted to at least try them. As I heard LayerLock was similar in quality to BuildTak, and another technology that used to be around that I cannot find any longer. I guess I won't find out.

Do they state the size on there web site? If it does not meet the size that was ordered have them send a new one.

I LOVE WhamBam PEX plates. They hold incredibly well and release easy when cooled. They are a bit expensive but worth every penny.

Is it posible that you ordered wrong size, or if your order was correct, they sent the wrong plate? Contact them, they should be able to make it right.

Taken care of. A first from them, but not without the built-in hassle they include for extra. I'm actually impressed, but not enough to ever give them my money.

Yeah, I stopped giving them my money or my employers money a few years back. So many better shops to work with in the US now.
